I love creating custom color and bouncy blowouts!

Hi i’m macey! I am 18 years old and I love the gym, writing, nature, shopping, and sushi!!! My mom and I absolutely love sushi and going to different places to try all the different kinds. In my free time I love to hangout with friends as well as try new things. These are just a few things about me that I love but my first love is hair!

My hair journey began when I was just 9 years old!! Early on I had always loved playing and doing peoples hair so when I received a manikin as my christmas present that year I knew I would always have a passion for it. That was only the beginning of my passion but as I entered the forsyth central highschool cosmetology licensure program my passion grew even bigger. This program has provided me with the opportunity to obtain my license while in highschool, I will have completed 1500 hours within my four years of highschool and done this though 11 cosmetology classes in total. While in cosmetology classes I began diving deeper into my love and looking for ways to grow as a person and in the industry. That is when I found berni inc., this is more than just a job, it’s my love, passion, and allows me to continue growing my education as well as skills. I began working at Berni in October of 2021 where they have given my the opportunity to attend classes such as Color WOW, Redken, and shadow me world tour 2021. This team has not only grown me within the industry but as a person! Along with working I continued to compete in multiple competitions regarding hair and makeup, where i even placed second in the state for cosmetology!!! I also continued to get pre- licensure certifications such as Barbicide and SP2.

As I continue to grow as a person as well as a stylist I hope to become the best version of myself. I will be doing this by keeping up with education, along with personal life, and lastly growing myself. One thing about education is you can never stop learning, there are always going to be things to learn and never going to be a stopping point. Behind the chair styling and color would have to be my favorites! Making everyone feel beautiful as they leave my chair is my goal and brings me so much joy to see the faces of people light up because of the confidence hair can bring.
